Utah to Colorado to New Mexico

After driving through Cortez, Colorado, and Farmington, New Mexico, we're home in Moriarty!

Utah Still

We are still in Utah, but less than 20 miles from Colorado and less than 100 miles from New Mexico.  We were only on the interstate a few miles today because we jumped over to US 6 and went through Price Canyon (beautiful!) then over to US 191 through Moab and the Canyonlands (awesome!).  The roads were great, some two lanes but mostly four lanes, and the sights were much better than what you see from the interstate!

Idaho to Utah

We drove from Twin Falls, Idaho, to Lehi, Utah (just past Salt Lake City) today.

Oregon to Idaho

We meant to make it to Ogden, Utah today but decided to take a break instead.  We are in Twin Falls, Idaho tonight.

Washington to Oregon

Today we drove 450 miles, from Issaquah, Washington, to Ontario, Oregon.  We didn't mean to drive so far, but there was no place to stop between Pendleton and Ontario and we had already called ahead for a reservation at Ontario.

Jeanne Zeller Willis-Long-DeJonge

Aunt Jeanne and Marianne are driving from Port Townsend, Washington, to Moriarty, New Mexico, because Aunt Jeanne is moving to New Mexico!

Today, we left Port Townsend, Washington, about 4:00 PM and stopped at Issaquah for the night about 7:30 PM.  We came across Puget Sound on the Kingston-Edmonds Ferry.
